Cupping therapy has used in Chinese Medicine for over 5,000 years. This involves applying suction with the aid of cups to the skin that can help relax tight muscles, release adhesions and improves blood flow to the specific area. The redness on the skin is a sign of improved circulation in the treated area, but it may leave purple marks for a few days to weeks which is normal. This treatment is combined with Deep Tissue massage techniques which will allow the muscles to start their adaptations and recovery.
